I read several different sights and they don't want open carry as it scares their other patrons.

Luckily I don't eat out much, so it'll be easy to avoid these two places. I am going to miss the tater tots though....

In its statement, Sonic said that although the company has historically relied on local laws "to guide how we address the display of guns at drive-ins, recent actions required we carefully reconsider this approach."

"We've considered the views and desires of our customers and employees that staff the drive-ins across the country," the Oklahoma City-based company said. "Accordingly, we're asking that customers refrain from bringing guns onto our patios or into our indoor dining areas. With respect to the storage of guns in vehicles, we ask that our customers continue to honor local laws."

Told y'all them whackos wandering around in fast food joints and malls was gonna get folks stirred up.. Y'all ever think that maybe the anti-gun folks are at the bottom of all that open carry stuff...

I don't blame them. Having a bunch of nutcases sitting on the patio with AK's is definitely gonna run off customers.

X2. Those jackwaggons need a quick swift round house to the face for doing something like that. I am all for the 2nd amendment, but not everyone wants to eat lunch with a crazy person with an AK over their shoulder.

On the other hand a concealed gun is just that concealed. If you take it in a place that your not supposed to, they will never see.

you keep kicking the dog eventually he bites you. and if these people aren't careful they will lose their right to open carry.

I stopped in a BBQ place in Idaho that gave a 10% discount if you open carried in the restaurant (which was legal in that state). We need some of those places down here.

So anyone that decides to open carry an AR/AK/whatever other scary weapon of the day is crazy and needs a roundhouse to the face?

Maybe everyone that posts stupid **** on a forum needs the same.

Sonic Political Donations in 2008 (last year I could find)

In 2012 - Sonic Corporation donated $83K, 98% went to Democrats

You always seem to defend the open carry AR/AK people so I will ask you. Why carry a rifle into a Chilis, Sonic, Walmart, etc? What is the purpose?
