    The Timer problem

Can't get The Timer to work on my 12v feeder, when I press test the motor light lights up but doesn't spin the motor. Would really like to use it, it's new with good batteries in it. Feeder battery is charged. Thanks for any help.

Volt meter. See if there's 12 volts going to the motor. If there is the motor is bad. If not, timer is bad.

I have the same problem. I just set it for a minute later and it goes off. It will not work on test just like yours. The other problem is it will work for a few days but when I go back it seems like it quits working and I'll set it for a minute later and it goes off again but will not work under test. I think it may be a motor problem because it did the same thing with an everlast timer.

Does the motor spin when connected directly to the battery? If not, your motor is no bueño (assuming your 12v battery is good)

I had this trouble one time and the motor wasn't making a good connection to the timer

I'm using a Remington now, it works on the feeder so I know the motor is good, don't know the model.

More than likely a motor/battery problem

                  That's a possibility.

Sounds like a bad battery to me or maybe the in between fuse is out.

I don't want to admit this, but if you hook the battery wires from The Timer to the battery and the motor wires to the motor The Timer works. lol
