    Leveling Kit install - DFW

Those of you that have had leveling kits put on your trucks. Where did you get it done and what brand kit do you have? I am looking at a 2.5'' Rough Country for my 2014 Silverado but don't really know of a place to get it done at.

U tube it, acquire tools and give it a shot yourself. save some money.

I put a Daystar kit on one of my trucks, and Bilstein 5100's on another truck. It's a pretty easy job to do yourself or have a basic mechanic do for you. You MUST get an alignment done immediatley afterwards.

I have the same one but for my F150. Its in the box. I have done them before. They are pretty easy. I just need to find the time to do it.

You can use my shop to put it on if you want to do it yourself. I'll give you a hand if you need it. Let me know.

I've done them all myself. done at least a dozen. really easy work even in your front yard. with a lift it's a 2 hour job.

Mine has a pro-comp kit. came with the truck when i bought it 6 weeks ago. looks really good and the ride is very smooth. Hoping I can run a 20" wheel and some 33's with this current set up. This is 2007 GMC Sierra 2500 SLE crew

We put the rough country on my buddies truck and it took about 2.5 hours. I'm going to put one on mine and it shouldn't take as long this time. Put a 3" body lift on my sons truck and it took a good 8 hours and I think the leveling kit looks a lot better.

Be sure you lift the back a little too. Otherwise your truck will look stupid!
If you put 3" up front, put 2" on the rear.

I have used Hell Bent Steel...eBay on several trucks including my new F150. Great craftsmanship!
Takes me about an hour per side.....but I am pretty awesome

Took me 3 hours to level my 150. I like the "level" stance. That's why they sell a lift kit and a leveling kit. Some like it and some don't. I'm opposite traildust in that I think an I level lifted truck looks stupid.

I installed the rancho quick lift on my 07 z71. The hardest part was getting the tower nuts off. If i would have had ratcheting wrenches it would have been a breeze. Took about 2 hours by myself and raised it 2.5 inches on the nose.

                        Shoot...you don't need a leveling kit then..just throw 6 sacks of readi-mix in the back....same look

I got the Pro-Comp 2 inch kit on my F150 FX4. I had a mechanic buddy install and took him about 2 hours to knock it out. Love the leveled look
