    Wood decking protectant question

Got a friend buying a house with a lot of wood deck built around the place. We were discussing the different options for protecting the wood, etc. Things such as power-washing and then coating with sealant, etc.

I have been told in the past that Thompson's Water Seal is no longer of very good quality.

Anyone have the superior solution? -thanks

Sikkens base coat sealant and Sikkens varnish/ top coat. Different wood styles/ colors available. The company is from Finland and offers far superior performance to anything out of USA. I have both my boat house and my weekend cabin finished with Sikkens. Ten years after first putting it down, people still stop and ask about it and comment how great it looks. Best to order online. Not cheap, but awesome!

Search the world's information, including webpages, images, videos and more. Google has many special features to help you find exactly what you're looking for.
