Do you need an archery stamp to bowfish?

I did not think so but could not remember. I was thinking you need a fishing license, but was not for sure it has been so long since I went. I'm thinking about taking my boys tonight and wanted to be safe instead of sorry.

No, youre fishing not hunting.

No fishing license needed when 16 years old or under.

Archery stamp is only needed to bowhunt game animals during the month of October/bow season.

Need only a fishing license to bowfish unless you're shooting turtles or bullfrogs, then you need the hunting license as well.
