My FIL has a condo there, we are visiting next week. We have a 5 year old girl and a 3 year old girl. Can someone give me some suggestions on budget friendly ideas things to do? Fishing? Museums? Good Eats? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Snook fishing in the back country is a blast. Beaches are ok as well.Comment

There is the Ft Myers beach area that has all the tourist type stuff. I would recommend taking the family over to Sanibel and Captiva. My inlaws are here this week and they live there. Will ask them for ideas.Comment

Wish I could help out. I know of a couple cool things in the sarasota area. MOTE Marine is an aquarium type thing and Big Cat Habitat would be great for the kids. Both are in sarasota.Comment
