    help satellite mapping farm pastures

I'm trying to find a program or something that will help me draw out my property on a map like google earth, but also give me a relatively close idea of how many acres are in each plot I draw. Is there anything out there that will do this?

I've been playing with just drawing out all the separate pastures, and how I would like to sub-divide all those pastures for better rotational grazing, but still would like to have an easier way to gauge the acreage in each without tedious measuring and redrawing. The site I've been playing with is nothing more than drawing lines.

    What ya got?

just type in acreage calculator in your search engine it will bring up a few different options, try "google maps area calculator tool" it's the one I use most of the time

I used the google maps one last year . You place pins at your corners and it will tell you the acreage . It was fairly accurate because I had the lime truck drive the perimeter with his gps and I think I was off by half an acre .

This is a good one! You can measure out different sections like your wanting.

Google earth Pro is pretty good if you want to plot some reasonable resolution pics

Someone on here recommended this site a while back. Works well.

Thanks guys. Time to start playing with each of these. Had time last night on the google maps area calculator... seemed easy enough and liked it until is told me one pasture was less acres than a smaller pasture. We'll see what other programs say, maybe it is. Appreciate it!
