    junction weekend

We just got back from Junction and had a great time. Got the feeders filled up, built a brushblind, rode around A LOT on the 4 wheelers and Ranger and just hung out. We were supposed to go to the river, but the kids were having too much fun shootin the .22, ridin around and eatin junk food! My cousin Lloyd shot a pig with his bow last night. His first pig kill with a bow! Included another pic of a RAge 2 blade HOLE! Lloyd said this sow went about 12 yards b4 piling up. Almost cut her heart in half!! My son Aaron shot a Boone and Crockett spot and stalk jack rabbit with is .410! Haley, my daughter, finally learned how to shift gears on the 4 wheeler! Saw some really nice axis while we were driving around. Man I love those spotted suckers!

Thanks, Chew. I wish I woulda had the vid cam rollin during the stalk. He put about a 75 yard sneak on that jackrabbit! He got busted on his first stalk. He was tryin to get too close. It was fun to watch! It was REALLY fun watchin Haley ride the four wheeler! She's got the hang of it now!

Cottle tines are what do it for me. I hope to add this big boy to my collection. I shot one 3 years ago with 11 1/2 and 10 3/4 cottles. Brow tines werent as good as this one.
