Does anyone use the rapid rails climbing system? Are they easy to carry and set up? How high up can you get? Do you guys recommend them?

i have been using them for 4 years and love them. The aluminum versions are light weight and easy to carry in to your stand. you can usually get to 15 to 18 feet if you space them out and have a branch or two to help.
I have used them in combo with various sticks and that works well. Great for trees that are not perfectly straight.
when you set them up, make sure you pull down and "seat" each step before you step on it...otherwise you will have a 1 to 3" give on your first step.
Only problem I have found is that the strap is sometimes not long enough to get around large trees at the base on your first or second steps.

I also use them and highly recommend them. If you pay the extra and get aluminum they are very light. I have the steel and they aren't too bad. Easy to set up and works on trees that are not perfectly straight.
I've used them at the lease for a hang on stand playing trails/oaks and up at Hagerman last year.
Best thing since sliced bread...
