My wife got me one for my birthday a month or so again. I'm trying to like it but honestly not sure it is worth the money. Simple free apps like myfitnesspal seem to be just as good. I'm not giving up on it yet but getting frustrated.
Just more junk. You got a mirror and a scale? Theres what you look like and that's how much you weigh. The numbers ballpark, useful only for measuring against itself.
My wife has one and it can me a good motivator. She is in a group and competes each week. She will not go to sleep without at least 10,000 steps each day.
anything that will motivate you to be more active is a good thing. Fwiw, I have no idea of the cost.
Love mine! It is very motivating to me seeing how many calories I am taking in vs. burning and I am too lazy to do all the calculations it does for you. I didn't have mine for about a month and I put back on the 6 lbs I had lost.
I've had one on every day for the past 2 months. I don't actually trust it to be accurate but it does motivate me to get up and moving. Down 21 pounds so far.
Kaitlin got one last week. I'm not quite sold on it, but it does motivate her (and me by association) because she is hell bent on getting 10k steps a day.....we've been waking every evening since she got it. She really only got it because she heard it will monitor your sleep, it does, sorta. I guess it's kinda cool.
