    Action Cameras

I've been thinking about getting an action camera for filming bow hunts. Anybody have any experience in this department?

the small little cameras like GO PRO are very limited IMO as far as filming hunts. They are fun and work amazingly well in certain applications. You have to have good light and there is no zoom so you gotta be close. A good set up is set on tripod opposite side of your shot and get the exit shot by remote control. I have the new GO PRO 3 Plus. Great little camera for what it is.

Looks like you can get them for around 500 bucks now used. Mine was almost 2 grand.

The Go Pro is great for stop action shots and as a 2nd camera to get unique angles with.

Thanks for yalls input. I've kind of heard the same about Gopros. Anybody heard anything about the Garmin VIBR? I was looking into that one and the Sony. I'll have to check out the JVC camera. Anybody mount an action camera from their bow?
