I had a usfws employee warn me that I could get a $10k ticket for causing harm to one that got hooked trying to steal my mullet/bait. Said it was my responsibility to take it to a vet to get the hook out of its throat. I just cut the line and his evidence flew away. lol

Feds need to fund this program, $5 bounty on everyone killed, they can use the funds from their bird watching stamp to pay for it.

Our lake has a permit, and we do our part in thinning them out. They get pretty gun shy after a while, though.
