The words "ethical" and "fair chase" on hunting shows. The pope and young commercial was sickening in how blatantly elitist it was portrayed. "We only promote ethical, fair chase hunting" (exactly how do you define the word fair??) Don't get me wrong, there are people like Ted Nugent and Keith Warren who actually promote all types of hunting. But, it seems to me like all these clubs that promote "fair chase" hunting serve no purpose other than to give the anti hunters more fuel for the fire.

its interesting how we each have our own definition of what is fair. I think we have to just do what each person thinks is fair. For me to tell you whats not fair is kinda lame. To each his own. Ive been on a lot of backcountry wilderness type hunts and know in my mind what drives me as a hunter. For some its sitting in a stand with 20 acres high fence. Its all good just depends on what drives ya.

The way I look at P&Y or B&C is kinda like Christian religions. Not don't get me wrong before you hear me out. There are many different Christian religions and they are all based on the same idealogy. God and Jesus (hunting). But after that they differ on many beliefs. Baptist don't drink or dance and Catholics drink. P&Y club doesn't believe in high fences but SCI does. But they are both hunting orgs.
Understand what I'm saying? Not comparing God and hunting at all. Although I think God every time I set foot in them woods.
With that, let's hunt!!
