    What release to buy

I know this is like asking the best broadhead question but thinking that I was getting out of bowhunting I sold both my releases. So give me your thoughts on what release I should buy and why? Keep this in mind Price under $85 and also I've never shot anything but a wrist strap release. Fire away.

Do you shoot from a loop or the string? Dual or single caliper? Back tension?
    Need more info.

I have been shooting from a loop but am changing over to the string I think. In the past I've had both dual and single caliper. I'm still trying to workd on the back tension thing. I know that doesn't help much but thats my status.

If it says "Scott" it is hard to be disappointed........especially for the price constraints!

Keep the loop and shoot a Scott Silverhorn loop release. It's a "hook", not a caliper. Went to that last year and love it.
No clipping the release on, just hooking on the loop and shoots great. It also has a forward trigger so it keeps my hand close.
Thought about the Fletcher but went with Scott as I have used them for years and have no complaints on their quality.

I have got an old Scott caliper, probably an early 90's model. Never had a problem with it ever. I am a Scott fan for life.

I just picked up a Loesch Jackrabbit wrist strap release and love it! It retails for under $80. It is super forgiving and has no trigger slack. Check it out http://www.bowgrips.com/catalog/company.cfm?company=35

Go with just about anything that says Scott on it. I shoot a Scott Mongoose and love it. Other than that, the only suggestion I'd give you is that no matter which one you go with make it a buckle and not a velcro starp. Velcro is noisey(spelling?,just don't look right) and should be shunned like the creation of satan that it is(was that a little over the top?)atleast when it comes to releases. JMO.
