First Hunt at Thompson Temple!

We've got our first hunt coming up this weekend out at Thompson Temple's Ranch. My dad, my wife, and myself are all going. Dad and I are taking the bows and my wife will probably have her boom stick. Any advice from the GS of those that have been??? We've never hunted rams before, so this will be a first. I've heard a few less than desirable things about the accomodations, just wondering if there are a few extra things we should pack (especially for the wife)!? Thanks fellas

Hunt the stands until everybody else is done for the morning and then start the spot and stalk.

Take a bucket of corn and shake it when you see the ram you want.


JK sort of. Bow hunting the ranch will make for a better challenge. I would spot and stalk as well to get the most out of the experience. Good luck to yall
