I agree on the I40. I read in Cabelas that the Cuddeback takes up to a 1000 pics on one set of batteries. At that rate I would be replacing batteries every two weeks. I get about 8000 pics out of my I40. Now if you were just setting it on a trail then it might be the better way to go because the trigger speed is much better then the I40.

Not true . I talked to their rep back in February . They are having the cameras made over seas now . This left some retailers stuck with some older models that didn't reduce them . Not long ago Cabala's reduced them also . All the dealers were aware of price reduction so they had time to reduce price quite a bit before they were stuck with older inventory . The newer model shown in this picture is the reduced price as compared to old price . In a nut shell " consumer saves $$$ on newer model hopefully same quality " ?

The Cabelas in Ft Worth hasn't reduced their price. The no flash was still $399 the other day.

$300 for any cuddeback is too much money. There was a time when than a there was none better than a cudde...that time has passed.

If you are close Cabella's in Buda. they have several in their bargain cave. I picked up the No Flash, normally 3 to 4 hundred for $122. It was a display model and works well, even the night video. Most were around 260 but you can haggle. Good luck
