22 LR at the Academy in Frisco

Federal Champion .22 LR 525 bricks for 21.99 and Federal 333 packs for 17.99. I got one of the 525 bricks and two are left but there were probably a dozen 333 packs and a bunch of 50 rd Remington. I couldn't tell what the Remy's were.

That is $0.0418 cents each, as it should be. As soon as people quit buying resellers flipping ammo, there will be a lot more inventory at these prices and those online trying to sell for $0.15 soon will realize no one will buy!

Looks like they broke up a brick to get the 50rd boxes.

I dont recall seeing 50rd boxes on the shelf before the craze.

Purchased a Ruger Sr22 last tuesday and they had some small boxes on counter but salesman asked if I wanted a larger qty. They had plenty of Remington bucket of bullets behind counter hidden. He said it was available to those with 22 gun purchase

I live a mile from the Academy in Frisco and I'm in there most days. I have seen .22 bricks more often on Sunday mornings. I wasn't even looking for .22 this morning. I was looking for 30-30 Leverevolution ammo.

I went looking for a box of 22lr, ended up buying 12 boxes of 22mag for 12.47 a box of 50. First 22mag ammo I'd seen in over a year.

I just bought a 17wsm, didn't know ammo was impossible to find unless you are willing to pay super inflated prices online. I guess I have been under a rock. I did find 200 rounds of 22 that I had forgotten about.

A buddy just bought 3 250rd boxes of 22lr at Wal Mart. It's coming back. Now I can start shooting more of the thousands of rounds I have...
