    Where to get fence posts???

    Looking for 8ft 6-8inch round fence posts for a pen build does anyone know in dfw where I can buy some???

        Are these for your corners or the whole fence? Pretty big posts for a fence. I doubt TSC will have that big of post. Might have to call some metal places for that big.

          For corner posts found a place online another state had them for $12 treated but nothing local

            Just build it with t post and put kickers in the corner. I can tell this is your first go around so I'll answer some of the other threads too.

            Use 6 foot post and barbed wire. Not smooth. The barbs help keep cattle out and that is your goal. You will probably want to add hog panels instead of or in addition to the barbed wire because hogs sound fun and all until they are eating $12 a bag feed that's intended for deer.

              Ah didn't realize you were talking about wooden. Try Mcoys lumber yard, they may have them. Might be a good ways from you though.

                For your purposes I would do this, just as effective if done right and less permanent if you change leases you can pull em up and take em with you. But I will say planting posts makes for a very strong fence.

                  Instead of trying to dog post holes I find me some sturdy trees for corner posts. May not Make a perfectly square pen but it makes a strong one

                        A place in meridian sells Cedar posts,big as you want...I don't know the name of the outfit,but they're open 6 days a week,and you can't miss it.
