    Release Feedback

I use the below T.R.U. Ball "Max Hunter 3" Caliper release and I like it pretty good, it's compact works well....

Have had my eyes on the below TRUGLO "Nitrus" Release. Has anyone here used this release and have any feedback?

For wrist release, I like the Loesch Jackrabbit better than anything I've ever shot.

I have not used the Truglo release but I did have a Scott little goose release my dog decided to chew up. So I went to Academy and bought the Truglo wrist strap that is in the picture above and attached it to my Scott. I really liked the adjust ability of the strap, it gives you more adjustment than a regular buckle and the same adjustment as Velcro without the noise.

I don't know anything about the Truglow other than that it is a caliper. My own preference is a hook - Carter Quickie or Tru-Fire Hardcore.

But I'll say this - it ain't the release, but the guy behind the release that leads to good scores and more kills.

On another site, there are never ending arguments about the greatness of back tension or hinge releases - how they can "cure your target panic." When I read that stuff I can only ask why it is so many guys who use those kinds of releases still have target panic.

Just make sure whatever it is Ali it is a buckle strap and not velcro. Nothing is louder in the blind than ripping velcro at 5 am..

I personally shoot the TruBall Cyclone. It's longer trigger fits my hand well..

The TruBall Max Pro 3 or 4 (your choice) breaks a lil cleaner than the hunter and has a more comfortable thumb trigger. I liked mine but sold it and went to the Scott "Exxus". No going back anytime soon.
