    Wish I were in Wyoming

Talked to my buddy Chris yesterday and he was out driving around killing time before the Sheridan Rodeo. He was telling me about all the mule deer and elk that he is seeing. Temps in the 70's. According to him he has been seeing some better than average deer and elk. He won't get back to Texas until after Cheyenne, than he is off to Kansas and the Mid-West Rodeos for a few weeks . Guy sure knows how to avoid the Texas Heat!!!!!

I hear ya... Glen was telling me how he was going to Colorado for a vacation, just camping and hiking. Talked to the wife the other night and we need to do something like that. Wyoming, North Dakota or Colorado... Sounds like a road trip in the making

I spent a few days last week in Park City, UT. I saw a huge bull elk on the side of the road. The temps where in the high 70s. Now I am in Reno, NV where the temps are in the 100s and the tables are cold.

I know EXACTLY what you mean! If you would have waited 6 more weeks you could have hunted some caribou!!!
