MLD does not mean you have plenty of deer. I was on a MLD ranch in southern Hamilton county and you were lucky to see 2 deer a day. All depends on if it is run right.

Ive always wnated to buy land out there but worry about illegals.

No spots open on it. I was told the last survey had 800 deer on it. We'll see soon enough.

We hunt on the Terrell/Val Verde County line. Lots of deer, one mountain lion, and on occaision we get some corsican sheep come through.
