MMMM that smell. I can still smell it after all these years.

That was my first thought, second was 105*, no shade and no breeze with a 100+ to go.

Seeing your son, I remember standing on the fence while the cowboys worked the cattle when I was his age 30-35 years ago. I remember a time that I was sitting on the top pipe of a 6' pipe fence and one of the BIG bulls charged me. I jumped down into the pasture (not into the working pens) and that bull hit the pipe and to this day there is still a huge bow in the fence where he tried to come through to get me.

As was mentioned, you never forget that smell.
