    Vegas Golf need suggestions

I had a tee time this Saturday at shadow creek. They called me and told me a high roller/celeb requested the course to himself and cancelled my tee time. What course if any rivals shadow creek in Vegas?

None....Shadow Creek is still probably one of the Top 20 courses in the country that most people will never see...When Steve Wynn owned it , it was invitation only and you basically had to be either up/down 10K for the invite..A couple of friends of mine still caddie there part time....

your best bet would be trying to play Primm (another Tom Fazio design) or see if you can get an invite to play Cascada (if you are a rated player/gambler at a Caesars property..Bali Hai is a nice track and if you are high rolling it and staying at the Wynn or Encore you might as well play there, still would cost you less than SC

FWIW : I used to be in the golf business here in town

Thanks for the info. I looked at cascata, I think I'm just going to take the comped rain check. I had my heart set on finally getting to play the closest to Augusta I would ever get to play. Oh well I'll save money but not taking my clubs

We do a tournament out there every year. We played several years at cascata. It was fantastic and one of the best I have ever played. We were just out there. Played the Wynn one day and I really enjoyed it as well. We also played dragon ridge and it is nice as well. Bali hai is good if you just want to play and it's on the strip. I think the Wynn course blows it away. I have played rio seco(?) out there and bears best as well. They were ok if you just want to play. Have played tpc Vegas as well and that was my least favorite. I like playing out there. We usually drink a lot and golf is secondary.

Thinking about taking a trip out to Vegas with the only man and my sisters boyfriend. It would be hard to get away from the blackjack tables but the courses out there would make it worth it.
