    Auto Parts from Amazon

The a/c compressor is going out in one of my trucks so I did some calling around to the local stores today. Cheapest I found an OEM compressor locally was $480. So I decided to get on Rock Auto and look and they had the same Delphi Compressor for $215 with $12 shipping. Just for giggles I got on amazon and typed in the part number and it was $210 with free shipping. Never thought of Amazon for parts before but I'll definitely remember them for next time. I got the compressor, accumulator, orifice tube, and system flush for $300 shipped. Can't beat that with a stick.

I'm not a Prime member but the shipping was free anyway.

I bought mine off eBay, and saved a ton. Complete kit, not just compressor, for under $350. I did the install myself, used Midas to remove the refrigerant, and payed them to pull the vacuum and put my old refrigerant back in. Total project was under $400

I haven't bought any auto parts from Amazon but I did get a part to fix my washing machine. Way cheaper than anywhere else and worked perfectly.

I did. They were more than Amazon. See my original post.

Very rewarding feeling. Just be sure to get a vacuum pulled, before you fill it back up

Amazon has it going on, good prices, free shipping and they store your information so there's no retyping address and pmt info.. they know how to get you to spend money quick.. not to mention they must pay Google a fortune to always show up towards the top on a search query.. i was reading about their sunday delivery the other day too and they truly have become a monster in the consumer world

Look up Tech Choice Auto parts in Middleothian and see what they have. They saved me a ton on A/C parts in the past.

Austin baker in denton will beat just about anyone. Compressor, dryer and everything to replace mine myself was $312. Cheapest I could find the compressor by itself local was $499.
