Good to meet some new people!!! @BAO..

Hey it was great meeting all of you that came up to BAO to hunt this weekend, big congrats to the first timer that scored.....It was good to see Mike Berry (TexasGrown) and Bill Paine (BrotherBill), camp fire and beverages were good over at your place... And last but not least...

I decided to let Mike Harr hunt my stand on my lease and WOW!!! What a night.. with a hour to go before the daylight was gone we have SIX!! different bucks under us and it was a hoot, shot some good video and then CAME THE MOMENT OF TRUTH!! I leaned down and told Mike, (hey if you want that nine with the broken main you can have him) well, I thought he did'nt want him till I noticed he was getting ready!! I grabbed the camera and started filming so I thought!!! I was shaking like crazy when he decided to take the buck, well he came to full draw and then the buck started walking right toward the feeder, I quickly said "dont shoot it under the feeder" well he cleared the feeder and I said I got him , take him now, then it happed, LOL!!! Mike coughed hit his trigger shot under the buck and I forgot to hit record , it was not meant to be, LOL!!!! Mike hope you got the big ten this morning bro, last nights hunt was one of the best I have ever had!!! Look forward to next time bro!!

To the BHNA hunters heading west next weekend GET SOME CRITTERS ON THE GROUND!!!!!! and Good luck!!

Man Big Daddy thats gotta hurt. As long as you had a good time though. You do any good in Oklahoma. Lets hit up that Nolton Creek with my Pops and shoot some Fallow Bucks. I had a good one at 50 yards the other morning, but had a whitetail doe come in a blow operation FALLOW KILL.

It was a pleasure to meet so many fine TBHers. Shoot straight people...

One of the best times I ever had right there!!
There was a little more to it than what Dale said.
I have a cough and had to muffle of couple of coughs during the hour or so. Didn't spook'em too bad though.
When I desided to take that buck I had been holding my bow for an hour watching these bucks. My hands, fingers and wrist were so cold that when I first drew my bow, my left wrist "cracked" so loud, that the 9 took off out of the feeder pen. The rest jumped around some but settled back into eating them golden nuggets.
The 9 saw that everthing was OK so he came back. He went right back to feeding on the left side of the feeder.
There he was, quartering ever so slightly away, Perfect shot!! I started to draw and the 8 looked right at me at about 1/2 draw. DANG!!!
He looked down so I finished my draw. The 9 started walking. RIGHT UNDER THE FEEDER!! Dale was telling me to wait until he cleared before shooting. Dang videoers...
Anyway, the buck got into the clear and I was about to release and was building up one heck of a cough. Touched the release just as I coughed and sent the arrow just under the buck... Wouldn't you know it, he didn't drop any!!!
He's still alive and well and Dale forgot to hit the "record" button so there's no proof of anything...
It was a great time Dale!! Your a true friend.
