    New Safety Harness

I am in the market for a new safety harness. I currently have a HSS vest style harness and absolutely hate it. I have three that I am considering but curious what the green screen uses. I am leaning towards the gorilla g-tac air, my second choice would be the muddy, and the the third would be the HSS ultra lite. With both the muddy and HSS I fall right on the high side of the s\m and low side with the l\xl. Would you go with the smaller or larger size?

I'd go with larger to make sure it would fit with all of my winter gear on. I use a Muddy. It is comfortable and easy to use and it has enough adjustability so it fits when I hunt in shorts and a t shirt under a mesh suit, or when I am bundled up in January.

I use a Muddy S/M and I'm 5'8" and 160# and can easily fit all of my heavy winter stuff on under it.

I had the hss vest and also hated it. It was way too hot. Got the ultra lite amd love it. Much better than the vest. Get the bigger one so you can layer up.

I have used the muddy the past two years and like it. I have an older hss. It has big buckles that make a ton of noise. That's why I switched.

Smaller more snug fit is much safer than a loose fitting harness. I have the ultra lite now, and it is just so so IMO. Muddy will be my next harness later this year when I retire the UL.

And I also prefer to war my harness under my outer layers when it is cold out. That way I don't forget to put it on while piling on everything else.

Ended up with the gorilla g-tac air. Went to academy and saw two on a clearance rack for 49.99. Grabbed one and went up to pay for it and it rand up 89.99. Told the cashier and the guy in sporting goods said it was in the wrong spot but they would honor the price. Academy didn't have to do it but thankful they did.
