    Have you ever?

Passed up a deer you know you could've/should've killed due to him comin in like clock work?
Passed this one up for the big 8 below, but never got a shot at him.

Passed up a deer that came in pretty regularly every morning. Watching him for about an hour, but couldn't shoot him. Had to save it for somebody that didn't deserve it, and that'll never happen again. Hate to pass up a good deer

Yes and regretted it! Even was textin Landrover with one that was making a scrape 28 yards from me. Landrover was almost screaming Bird in Hand over the text! I let em walk. At that point it hit me. Why in the blue hell did I do that!!! Saw him multiple times over the rest of the season,,, when I was driving, filling a feeder,,, on the tractor etc. never again not once with a bow in my hand. Regretted it ever since. We had nicknamed him kicker. Almost a 140 inch main frame 8 with about a 3-3.5 inch kicker point off of his right G2 about 2/3rds the way up. Still sick and that was a good 4 years ago.

The only buck I've seen with branched antlers was a tiny 6 point, so yea, I have passed on bucks

I do it every season. Start of the season I pass up a good buck because I know that there are bigger buck out there then season ending I am kicking my *** for letting it walk.

Thats a stud in that last pic Ragin! Is that a Stonewall deer? I grew up there. My mom and uncle own the Stonewall One Stop Diner. You've probably had catfish there a few times!

Many many times. I've had it bite me but if I pass them once it wasn't a deer I really wanted anyways. I let a mid 140's 9pt walk at 20 yards on public land chasing a much bigger deer that I didn't know was dead at the time. GarGuy had killed him about 3 weeks prior, I believe he was in the 180's

I guess I'm going to show the other side of this coin. I busted a 10 pt opening morning of bow season. Only to see 3 monster bucks later in the year that I was unable to shoot. That being said, it's always better to take the bird in hand!

Been there and done that . And on one occasion the nice 10 pointer was poached where the A holes cut off his head and left the rest of him on the road in front of my property.
