Frio river water level thread

I do not have pictures to share but it rained & rained almost the entire weekend with the big floater early Sunday AM. The river was flooding all day on Sunday. 5 to 8 inches depending where you were. We couldn't get out until today from our house

My uncle lives just north of the 127 Frio crossing. He sent me this pic from earlier today...like they say, when it rains it pours!

We were there this weekend and it rained big... When we left on Tuesday, it had all subsided and things were back to low from Vance back up through Kerrville on our drive. Some of the rivers and streams were still running just a tad.....

Yup - that is near NEALS and the last take-out area before you float too far into brush country.

Sure hope they fix the road quickly.

We will be there as we always are every July 4th weekend. Good to see we may have some decent river flow this year. It was pathetic last year and only marginal the year before.

Cowboy House is pretty secluded. It is about 1/2 mile from Neal's It is on a acre or two, with big oak trees. We enjoyed it
