I'm thinking about buying a Mossberg Jerry Miculek shotgun....

They seem to be pretty heavy according to the specs. I'd be using if for home defense, and, maybe, some day three gun. Any opinions on them?

It's funny you started this thread. I've been looking at these as well. I've been contemplating selling my Remington 870 shorty and buying one. PSA has them for $599 with 10% off. Grabagun in copell has them as well. The reviews and videos I've seen they are gathering good reviews.

I agree as I had nothing but bad luck from the 835 model. This one seems to have very good reviews and holds strong against the benelli and stoeger 3 gun shotguns commonly used.

Handled one this weekend at cabelas, liked it but I felt the mossberg 930 spx was better IMHO. Take that with a grain of salt because both are solid guns but I would handle both before making a decision.
