    Concrete Staining...

Anyone have any contacts for someone in the concrete staining business?

I'm looking to re-wax my stained floors.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Have you had your concrete stained? I am thinking about having it done?

We ripped the carpet out of our bedroom a couple of weeks ago and stained the concrete, preparing it was a lot of work but it was well worth it and probably did it for under $200. It was my first time but it turned out looking good.

Concrete was stained when we built the house.

        Love it.

I just want to put a fresh coat of wax on it with a high powered buffer.

Anyone know anyone that can do it with a commercial buffer?

          Rock Candy

Mayfield Paper Products carries a product called Rock Candy... It is applied with a synthetic thread mop (which I think they also have)... You can apply yourself and we've had good luck in dozens of homes with the stuff... Puts a nice shine on the floor...

ive used this stuff before at one of my sisters house. worked well. if you rent a small buffer it make the job a bit nicer. just apply with mop and then use the buffer. i think you can do it without the buffer, but i would not personally. where do you live? i know a guy out in dallas/fort worth area.

reggiehayes, I sure would like to see some pictures of your floor. If you can either post them or send them to me at garyj80@yahoo.com. Or if anyone else has done it I want to see some diy pictures.

Some friends of mine run Decorative Construction Supply in Mesquite, they have a boot camp to show you how to do your own work. http://www.decorativeconstructionsupply.com or they could probably help you find someone to do the work.

I have stain several floors. Its the best thing since sliced bread if you live in the country and have kids. I have never applied anything to mine after staining and it has done fine.

                        Good luck.
