Hey guys, I need to buy 4-6 cameras and I have never owned one. I need good quality photos and long battery life. Do you have to download software to look at the pictures of most of them?

Check out the DLCCovert cameras, They are some very good quality cameras with very good battery life. On most models of their cameras they have a LCD picture Viewer. Makes it nice if you have a bunch of cameras to spot check before hunting that day.

of all the cameras Ive own some have taken higher resolution and were 250 bucks but the best bang for the buck(under 100bucks) and bullet proof would be Primos Ultra 35 hands down.
The Primos Ultra 35 2013 model now has 1 sec trigger speed and
battery life off the charts 9 MONTHS!!
Great photos and great video.

Since you've never bought any before...i highly doubt your going to want to spend $300 bills each on some of the newer models that send you text/emails of your pics...
We use Moultrie D444's - i get them bulk buy and they are out year round from extreme South Texas heat through the cold.
Can usually get a full year out of the 6 C Cell batteries with about 2000 pics every 2 weeks per camera.
they use SD cards up to 16GB and no software is needed.
(they do video as well if that is your wish.)
