Sorry to hear that. I went through it a couple of years ago. It's not fun at all. Heartbreaking. I saved 6 out of 13 puppies.

I hope you have better luck than us. We dropped a $400 for the dog $1000 for the vet and he made it a week before kicking the bucket.

Sorry to hear. The shots are worth the price. We had a pup named Waylon that contracted parvovirus and died within 48 hrs right in front of the kiddos. Bout as heartbreaking as it gets.... And that smell!

Sad sad, wasn't what I wanted to read! My lab went through parvo and I spent a pretty penny!! Had to bring him to the vet every morning and evening for fluids until he pulled through, it's very sad to watch them be so healthy to terribly sick and weak!! Prayers for you and the family!! Disinfect the yard BIG TIME!!

I am so sorry to read this. It's hard to lose one so young.

You really need to call the breeder. Parvo has a 14 day incubation period, which means he picked it up at the breeder's place. Not all pups will get it, so don't be surprised if the breeder says none of the other pups got it.

Also, you need to ask for your money back, but do NOT take another pup from him.

Since it has a 14 day incubation period, I would think retreating in 14 days would be best.

MAN, Sorry about your loss!! I was pulling for the little one too!! I lost one that had been vaccinated for parvo that was a little over a year and a half old due to parvo a few years back now. the vaccine company reimbursed me for everything except the cremation due to the fact that I had our vet contact them and threaten a lawsuit. bill was just shy of 1500 bucks. It never is easy to lose a furry loved one.
