Let me give more data.
I love my z7 it shoots fast, hard and quite. Very good hunting bow.
Problem is my right shoulder is giving me pain and I'm not looking to have surgery if I can help it. Have had cortisone shots that help, but not a fix. Next is surgery.
I think that lowering the pounds and a smoother let off will help before and after surgery if needed.
I hunt with my bow and love the flat shooting energy I get on the z7.
Any wheel bow that will come close I'm interested in.

I know what you are talkin about when you say wheel bow bud. Closest thing you will find these days will be in the Elite line. Unless you wanna shoot that 45" axle to axle Hoyt with wheels.
I switched over from Mathews to Elite several years back due to the shoulder. was able to drop 10 lbs in DW and keep my speed. the draw cycle of the Elite cams is easier to me coupled with the solid back wall and 80% let-off.

NICE, now can you tell the rest of us lowtech folks what a wheel bow is? I have an idea but not sure...
Like just posted we used to have "round wheel" bows, energy wheels and cams. They are all "eccentrics. These days if a person wants a "wheel" bow you must look at the draw force curve if the bow. That part is not left up to opinion. Like you hear guys say how buttery smooth there Speed bow is? Now some are smoother than others. That's true. But a less aggressive draw force curve is gonna be smoother to pull. It's simple physics. They will also be slower. But much much more comfortable to draw. Generally quieter and hv less hand shock. Thus making the entire sequence of the draw and shot much easier on a person. And it really helps if you have to let down. It doesn't try to rip your shoulder as it comes out of the valley.
Disclaimer; I can only see that Fishindadio posted but I can't see his post cuz he's on my ignore list. If he had explained it my apologies.
