Sinus troubles!

I think i have a piece of pollen or something stuck in on of my sinuses.. only one nostril is stopped up and only one of my eyes is watering. This all happened after i ran 2 miles yesterday around the neighborhood. I took some clarition last night.. but it hasnt helped at all, nor has blowing my nose, or sneezing. Any ideas??? its driving me crazy!!!

Neti Pot does work, just make sure you use sterile water. Oh and it feels WEIRD when using it lol

Try essential oils. My wife uses them and it works for several of our friends that also use them. My wife uses the Young Living line of oils and for allergies, uses a mixture of Lemon, Lavender and one other. Message me if you want more info on it.

If you want immediate relief use some afrin nasal spray, but dont get in the habit of using all the time. Your other choice is sudafed. Neil sinus rinse makes a kit, get the one with a bottle not neti pot, that sucker will clean you out.

Neti pot is sooo 10 years ago. Their new bottle is way, way better. Trust me, I fly alot and have to use it daily to prevent sinus infections.

I agree with TexaRican. I have a predisposition to develops sinus polyps and after three surgeries to remove them I use the neilmed bottle to prevent their reoccurrence.

This year is my first year in the hill country and I have discovered me and Oak pollen don't get along. I have been on a few different drugs with not much relief. I tried the Netti, but not the pot, I got the squeeze bottle one, works a lot better for me. Made by the same company and uses the same packets of saline stuff. Just make sure you use distilled water, do not use tap water. Anyway cleared everything up in just 2 days. I use it 2 times a day to keep the crap out and I've had no problems since.
