Kryptek Camo? Chime In!

Well I searched a little before posting but couldn't find anything pertaining to strictly Kryptek.

Anyone ever bowhunted with this stuff? Any good? Quiet? Warm? Worth it? How well does it work on ground? How well in tree stand?

I'm a camo nut so was just curious.

Very good stuff! They have a whole set of gear, so some of it is quieter and better for stand hunting and some is for a more active hunter.. The Highlander and Mandrake patterns are bad @ss. Cabela's isn't going to carry them anymore so they are having good sales on it right now.. I still prefer First Lite, but it is still awesome stuff! If you want to see tons of reviews on the different gear pieces poke around on rokslide.com for a while

Top notch high performance gear for sure. For bow hunting I love Sitka, Core4 and Kryptek. All is very comfortable, being stretchy and all. It is all quiet.
With all that being said, I would not pay retail, way too expensive. CamoFire has some great deals and I have bought several pieces.

I wear it and love it. Quiet and warm without being to bulky

I like what core4 is doing but all they offer is in Max-1. And I am a believer of unconventional patterns that better help the hunter dissappear into the surroundings.

I think it looks great and I have a kifaru pack on order in that Camo. Plan on trying the clothes at some point.

as far as hunting any ungulates, the basic color they offer would do just fine since that really is not subjective to their eyesight the pattern is more important.

All I wore in Ohio a few Christmas's ago in the snow was the wool long underware, and the camo plants for my legs and I did not get cold. I was outside for couple of hours with the kids playing in the snow, and shoveling the outlaws drives.

On a good note, you should google some of their 2014 line.. They have a pretty sick looking hooded insulation piece coming out among other things..

yeah its a super cool pattern and I put one of the pictures from their site to greyscale to mimic ungulates sight and it looked convincing but it sounds like their sales are not as good as they would hope it to be.
