Been baiting a spot for some time now, historically this place holds pigs, but they found new territory this Winter and early Spring. Racoons were giving us fits, so resorted to the old diesel trick, worked again! Hopefully the others will find it soon, but if not, I hope to have some LDP's soon of this nice boar.

I quit using diesel because its poisen to them. I don't think it hurts the meat because they are not eating large amounts of the fuel. It will end up in their bloodstream and digestive system. I have eaten hogs that i killed over corn soaked diesel and couldn't taste any difference. If you just want to erradicate them all, then use it. Keep in mind it's not just hogs that may eat it.

This isnt a deer feeder, it's for hog hunting. For those that think less than a cup of diesel poured over 10-15 lbs of corn is poisioning them, I beg to differ. Those things eat just about anything. I don't know of any other animals that will eat it. I know coons won't, that's the whole point of it.
