    Hunting Ginueas fowl?

While scouting LBJ this past weekend, we ran up on a flock of ginuea (sp) fowl. CAn u hunt those? Is there a season on them? I was tempted to stick one of them. BTW, saw a lot of deer out there.

Exotic, they taste like pheasant and are great brined and smoked.

I can see them being hard to sneak up on. I have eaten them, and they do taste good. Darker meat than a chicken, but similar. Surely TPWD would classify them as exotics, unless they are strays that someone is missing.

Shoot them right in that skinny little neck with a Montec small game head.

Non-game animal. Just like shootin' a chicken, feral hog, or English sparrow. No closed season, no bag limit.

Ya, just like shooting a chicken, but make sure someone isn't running a flock out there...

I Stuck One In Llano Once When I Was Like 12. He Walked Right Past My Bow Blind I Had Built From Brush So He Was Venilated! I Was So Happy Till I Found Out It Was The Owners Wifes Flock! Being So Young She Laughed And Cooked It. It Was Good!

I hunted them a few times when I was a kid in Africa. The birds there were very difficult to hunt.
