I'm of the same belief. Not because of his opinion but because the govt should get out of regulating personal issues. The govt has a million more problems that rank higher than making sure 2 human beings can't marry. And if they are going to continue regulating it, I have a list of straight people who should also be banned from marriage.

Well I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion.

          Even if its wrong.

If two people(I don't care what sex they are) want to get married, fine. BUT, don't tell me that I HAVE to give them the same "rights" as everyone else. It's something that should be left to the states and the citizens of those states. The federal gov't needs to stay the hell out of it. (like most other things that they stick their noses into)
I have to admit I'm kinda shocked by his take on it, but hey, whatever. Everyone has an opinion.

I'll be glad when the day arrives that I dont have to hear about everyone's sexual orientation. I couldnt care less about the issue. Next decade it will be something else the MSM decides to shove down our throats everyday.

Not surprised, our nation is full of opinions. Here's one of legislators in his finest hour:
AL Democrat Congressman 'Fine' with Men Marrying Mules, Calls Clarence Thomas 'Uncle Tom'
                    Breitbart ^ | 14 Apr 2014, 12:52 PM PDT | Tony Lee

Alabama State Rep. Alvin Holmes (D) who said Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is an "Uncle Tom" for being married to a white woman believes men should be allowed to marry mules.

As Yellowhammer News, a go-to site for Alabama politics, noted, Holmes has come under fire recently for making comments about Thomas, interracial adoptions, and black Republicans. And when asked about interracial marriage, he revealed he was in favor of men marrying animals.

“Now, I’m for interracial marriage,” Holmes said on a local radio show, according to Yellowhammer News.

                    He continued:

I’m for same-sex marriage. I’m the one that introduced the bill to have same-sex marriage. I don’t care who marry who. If a man meet[s] a little mule and he wanna get married to the little mule, as long as he and the little mule get along all right, that’s fine with me. It doesn’t bother me any kind of way.

You might want to put your mule up in the barn before it's elopes.

I agree get government out of marriage. Its between you and God and I am not worthy of judging only God is. Would I try and convince a gay person to not follow his urges and to change his ways through Christ, Yes. But judge him no. I'd need to remove the plank from my eye first.

LOL. I bet y'all wouldn't say **** face to face.

I don't give a crap either way. I don't see how it's my business what other people do. It's a free country, right? But they must remember if I see two boys smooching I have the same freedoms they do, like freedom of speech.
