I don't think the analogy applies to the barbers original comments, there are plenty of people with disabilities or hardships in life that have a personal relationship with Jesus. I do agree that the world would be a better place if more people would seek out the savior, but the truth is none of us know why there is suffering here on earth, that along with a lot of other things are beyond our comprehension.
