        Crazy as the day is long lol. I'm from up north originally also, but after 15 years or so living here brisket is one of Gods many gifts to man. Texas brisket tastes almost as good as you can get.

          My roots? First off we ain't midget like. Proud to be from immigrant stock and VERY proud to be a Yankee!

          No BBQ on my brisket.... Just good rub, low and slow

            Yessir you are correct. Learned a whole bunch about smoking since we moved here 15 years ago. Texas Brisket Rules! And I've learned how to smoke it!
