I planted a bag of food plot mix last fall and the deer never touched this stuff. I am pretty sure it is radishes. Anybody seen it before? Why won't the deer eat it?
Deer in different parts of the country either will or won't eat plants in the brassica family. " My " deer won't eat 'em either. I grew the most beautiful crop of " Winter Greens " a couple years ago. The deer never touched them. The turnips got as big as a football, honestly. The hogs wouldn't even eat 'em. Some say you can spray them with a solution of vanilla extract and water and " train " 'em . I don't know if that works. I just try to keep soybeans in the spring, oats in the fall and winter, and clover all year long. Good luck !
