Catfish ponds

Anyone know if there are any catfish ponds off Hwy 290? I know of one that closed. I'm looking to take a couple kids fishing.

There is a big pond up a round Waller on the outbound side

See people fish there all the time

What about the one in Hempstead? That pay to fish place on the north side of 290, right there in Hempstead.

That's the area where I'm looking. I just wish I had a phone # or a Name of one.
