    Rotator Cuff Pain???

I swear I got something going on with my right shoulder. Constant pain down to my dang fingertips. Not sure what is up. Been about 1.5 years now. It's just there. I take 6-8 ibuprophen a day and it don't touch the pain.

    Cervical disc is my guess..

My pain was on my left side and I had surgery 2.5 years ago. The moment I woke up from the surgery the pain was gone.

I had mine redone last year. My pain didn't go down to my fingers though. It was very acute in the shoulder. I couldn't sleep cuz it would throb all night. Had it scoped and it's 110%

Mongo needs to lay off the Ibuprofen... Put your hands to your side and see if you can make the field goal sign and then see if you can put the back of your hand on the small of your back and move it upwards. If not you need to have an MRI on that shoulder...

I had buldgeing disk that did the same thing to me. T4orT5. My ciropractor did the trick for me. Pain would go from my shoulder blade through my shoulder all the way down my arm to my two middle fingers. Fingers would go numb.

I have issues right now in my left shoulder. I have been lifting heavy and aggaravated an old injury. Hopefully I will not need surgery, but my shoulder constantly pops and cracks.

I have torn my rotator cuff in both shoulders but the only way to know for sure what's going on IS an MRI. Rubydog gave you very good advice. The ibuprofen "could" add to your problems BIG time with an ulcer, etc. with long term use.

Gave myself an ulcer about 10 years ago from taking too much ibuprofen. Get it looked at.

Before spending money on surgery, find a chiropractor that does Active Release Technique. It may be a case of "frozen shoulder". It's cheap treatment and it fixed my shoulder problem.

My problems were caused by bone spurs. It acted and looked just like a tear.

rubydog is right about the Ibuprofen--that much over long time can likely lead to a stomach ulcer. When you do take it, be sure you take it with food/meal. My doctor told me a few spoons of ice cream at bedtime with the pill would be just the ticket--one of the best things a doc has told me.

Yeah I'm pretty sure my body has become dependent on them. If I don't take my dose twice a day I hurt all over.

I injured my shoulder while working out a little over a week ago. I've been delaying the doctor visit hoping it will go away, but it seems that a visit may he in order after no improvement. Mine hurts when I reach behind my back as previously mentioned or when my arm is extended and I am doing something that created resistance. It also pops when I lower it from the raised position.
