I like the original Franklin quote better.
They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

If your going to quote Ben Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson you might as well give them credit for it.

Definitely good stuff to have people thinking about, and good job on distributing the pocket constitutions also.

Definitely good thoughts Ike but i am also with the crowd of if you are going to use a quote, leave it as is. This is how a lot of stuff gets spread around falsely on the Internet. I know your intentions are good, but some things should be preserved as they are.
