Grady's line camp steakhouse
It's only open Thursday-Saturday 5-? Food is pricey but the atmosphere and eats are world class and Grady is a hell of a host.
Head towards Tolar on 377 and you'll see a billboard on your left and follow that back..... Ray Charles couldn't miss it!

If you don't mind a short trip, go to LOCO COYOTE between Glen Rose and Granbury! IT IS THE BEST BBQ I have EVER had and at my age I've had a lot!!!!! It's in the country off a FM road and will be PACKED, but great atmosphere, sawdust on the floor, lots of outdoor covered eating, cold brews, cowboys/bikers/normal folks (whatever your definition it) family friendly and depending on the time you go, live bands. But, be prepared to wait and they plates have so much food it's MORE than worth the moderate price and wait!! Have fun wherever you eat!

I love to get a fish plate at Irbys everytime in in Granbury. They have the best hush puppies ever. In fact we buy em by the bag to use at our fish fries. Cooking some up with fresh crappie hopefully Sunday!!

Oh, by the way, Firehouse is very good for breakfast but service sometimes is too slow. For the future....our little town is getting a new MESQUITE BBQ, same owner as the one in Weatherford! If it's anything like the Weatherford one it will be a big HIT!
