Picked up a pup that supposedly had the first round of shots. I want to give it a parvo shot just to be on the safe side. If it did have the shots, could the second shot be harmful?

No it won't be harmful. Puppies need 3-4 rounds of shots spaced 3-4 weeks apart. The fourth round depends on when the first was done. One set of shots will not protect a puppy, there must be a series to properly stimulate immunity.

be sure to keep them cold til you are ready to give it. Those shots will go bad if not kept cold.
