Houston Hotel

My FiL has to go to MD Anderson for a few days and my wife is taking him. Does any one know a close by and safe hotel they could stay in?

Jesse H. James Rotary House international. It's only for patients and is directly across the street from MD Anderson. My wife is a patient and we have stayed here numerous times.

I work in the med center and 'safe' is a relative term. You'll be okay just about anywhere in the area. The key is to make sure you don't leave ANYTHING of value visible in the truck. If you want to impress the wife Hotel ZaZa is very nice and just on the other side of Hermann park.

ZaZa all day looooong!!!!!! Med Center is very safe as you will soon see. Rice Village and Greenway Plaza have very nice also that are in the area.

There is a Holiday Inn just down the road. We use to take my sons to Texas Children's every 3 mos. We'd walk to the hospital and back with 4 small children, maybe 1/4 mile or so. Holcombe runs in front of the hotel to M.D. Anderson a straight shot. I think there is a parking garage at M.D. Anderson, there is also a parking garage right across the street from the hospital.
