    Raincoat re-waterproof ?

I have a Columbia raincoat, cloth not plastic. It no longer repels water. Some parts do but most does not. Can a cleaners reapply the waterproofing? Where do you go to get this done. I would rather pay someone than do scotchguard.

Go buy some Krylon Never Wet. I have them on my work boots and it works like a charm

This stuff works well. I have used it on pop-up blinds. It not only waterproofs, it keeps the sun from fading the camo fabric to funky colors. It has to be recoated maybe once a year. Each can doesn't go real far, but one can should definitely treat a raincoat.

Now they also have what they say is a permanent product, but I haven't tried it, so I can't say...
