    Questions for the SCOPE gurus

I have a 257 wby mag that I'd like to top with either a Zeiss Rapid Z or a Swarovski Z3 BRH. To me they both have great glass so that's not my dilemma. I definitely want a hold over reticle to save on confusion, but need some good input before I drop the dime on one.

The Rapid Z 800 seems to be the fit for the 257. Does the BRH have a specific model for calibers like the 257?

I'd look real hard at the Swarovski Z5 5-25 with the ballistic turret

chrono your most accurate load, send in the details to Swaro, and have a custom turret made

Swarovski's online calculator is better in my opinion and you will see better through it in low light. The Zeiss will be a tougher scope of you're rough on equipment. I prefer Outdoorsman turrets and if you buy the scope from them it's free. Less can go wrong with ballistic reticles than with turrets but it can get too busy for my tastes.

Swaro's ballistic turret doesn't work that way Blake. The user sets the torrent up with indexable discs so to speak.

        To the OP:

I have found Swarovski's BRH sub tensions to be very accurate as long as you put in correct data (which would apply to all ballistic reticles). If you don't have a chronograph and access to information about the specific bullets you are shooting, you are wasting your time.
