Congrats on the hog and nice pistol shooting. Just curious: why the platform? I see guys putting their popups on a platform and wonder why. What makes it better than just having it on the ground?

Honestly for me it was about keeping ground critters out of it. I also like having that slight elevated angle to shoot from.
